Fall Classes 2010

August 16th, 2010

Fall Classes at CCSF start today. This semester I am taking on a difficult challenge — working full-time AND being a full-time student.

I’m taking the following five classes:

  • Data Structures & Algorithms: C++
  • MySQL Databases
  • Introduction to Unix/Linux
  • Computer Architecture with Assembly
  • Flat Pattern Design I (as in clothing patterns)

Why am I taking on so many classes? The answer is simple: I am only four classes away from obtaining my Certificate in C++ at CCSF. I’m so eager to obtain this certificate that I’m willing to dedicate all of my time to this goal. Hopefully, after obtaining my Certificate in C++, I will be one step closer to enrolling in a Masters Program for Computer Science!

As a means of balance, the Flat Pattern Design I class is present to help me keep my sanity. Since I’ve decided to go back to school, I told myself that I should enroll in at least one “fun” class every semester. For my past two semesters, this class was Japanese, and this semester, it is Flat Pattern Design I.

Globworld Graffiti

June 7th, 2010

Today marked my first company outing at Wishb, LLC! We all went to 1:AM to learn the art of graffiti art. After a quick lesson on graffiti basics, we decorated our own shirts using spray paint and then quickly went to work on a mural featuring our very own product — GlobWorld! It’ll be up on the corner of 6th Street and Howard Street in San Francisco for a limited time so be sure to stop by and have a look-see!
